Military and Aluminum Nameplate Specifications


This section includes specifications for photosensitive anodize aluminum nameplates for interior and exterior use.

These nameplates meet numerous Military and Commercial Specifications and are ideal for use in harsh environments. Nameplate are available in various thicknesses and sizes.


Material:   Aluminum alloy per QQ-A-250/1, Series 1100, H18, .020" thick,
            satin or matte finish.
            (Other thicknesses available are .003", .005", .012", .032", .060", .125")

Finish:     Finished plate to have a totally anodized surface characters shall be
            integrated into the anodized layer by a photographic process using
            silver compounds per MIL-P-15024D, Type H.

Lettering:  Black background with natural lettering.
            (Other color choice: Natural background with black lettering)

Sizes:      Any size up to 12" x 20".
